Prefect - Training Management System

Training Assessment Modules

Incorporates;

  1. Documents to Read,
  2. Awareness (MCQ) Tests
  3. Skill Competency Assessment

Prior to undertaking certain tasks within a company, an employee's knowledge and ability to undertake a task is assessed using a modular training and assessment process. These modules form the basis of a training course specific for each job role.

Prefect TMS automatically recognises and presents to the individual user with the modules that they must complete to be signed off to undertake a role within a company.

The user must undertake the following process;

  1. Select and read the relevant documents. Confirmation that documents have been read must be completed through electronic sign off by the user
  2. Carry out the related awareness tests. The awareness test is marked automatically by the system and a report of pass or fail with the acquired score is instantly generated for the user to view in their 'MY RECORDS' section
    Typically:
    1. 60% or less is regarded as a failure
    2. 60 - 90% is deemed a 'restricted pass'. In both cases the test must be retaken within a pre-defined period of time.
    3. 90% plus is this deemed as a full pass
  3. Following a full pass an employees skill competency for a particular task/role is assessed, with the following outcomes;

    Level 1 - fully competent to perform activity unaided;
    Level 2 - able to perform activity as part of a team;
    Level 3 - understand the principles underlying an activity.

It is at this point that the Training Manager and Line managers decide upon a staff member's readiness to undertake a given role.
